Middle School 

At Centralian Middle School, Arrernte, Chinese, Japanese and Spanish are offered. Languages at middle school level are compulsory in year 7, 8 and 9. Classes are taught twice a week and are of 60 minutes duration. All classes are taught in accordance with the Australian Curriculum.

Centralian Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities to enhance their language learning. A favourite for all students are cooking classes, where the class cooks a meal that originated in the country of the language they are learning.
